- Ms D's eyes studied me for a moment longer before she shifted her gaze to Tori. "Yes, he'll do." The woman decided before turning sharply and marching off towards the door. It happened fast enough that I was left still puzzled as the doors to the offices shut and we were left alone in the parking lot.
- I did not understand what that introduction had meant and Tori didn't offer me any clues, instead she tugged on my hand again and pulled me towards the main set of doors. I thought about asking her to give me her perspective on it, but decided against it since I was still assuming I wouldn't take the job anyway, so I didn't need to know any more about that mysterious woman.
- Tori flashed an ID card at the main doors and ushered me in. Stepping inside I saw that right in front there was a reception desk with someone behind it, as well as a security guard standing and chatting to the receptionist. Both were pretty women somewhere in their twenties. They grinned as they saw Tori and then seeing me they quickly whispered to each other as they gave me looks that I did quite understand.
